Daniel Paton suffered a broken nose and two black eyes after the horrific attack by another patient 😔
The family of a man who was beaten black and blue inside a hospital ward have hit out at the Glasgow medical facility.
Daniel Snr, from Glasgow, said: "The attack was completely unprovoked. But they were standing there with pool cues in their hands and there was only one person about to look after them. That staff member then left to get help."He had to be taken for treatment. He had cuts above his eyes and his nose was broken. He was left with bruising for about ten days after it.
He continued: "It's hard to say what the full impact of the attack has been on Daniel. He doesn't make much sense when I ask him questions. He's a bit of a zombie, to be honest. "I don't even know if the other patient is still on the ward. They say they can't tell me because of confidentiality." Daniel Snr added: "When I saw that room I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I had to take a video just to show my family the hell hole he was living in.
