A dad from Texas has explained his decision to wake up with his daughters so his wife gets to sleep in.Christopher Giglio, 29, has been getting up with his two daughters every morning since they were born, allowing his wife Breanna to sleep in.The girl dad took to TikTok to address critics who questioned the fairness of their arrangement, with some asking, 'but what does she do for you?'This choice, Giglio told Newsweek, works well for both of them.
Clarifying this further, he told Newsweek that trying to perfectly balance responsibilities in a marriage is not only impossible, but can lead to the compare-and-despair mindset.'Keeping score of what each partner is or isn't actually going to make anyone happier because it's never going to help each partner get their needs met,' he added.Christopher's clip has been viewed more than 700,000 times and received over 100,000 comments.
