Rob Baron has thanked air ambulance crews after his dinosaur obsessed two-year-old son was struck by a car
A dad has spoken out about how his two-year-old son's life was saved by air ambulance crew after being struck by a car in East Lancashire.

Dr Ed Dennison Davies, part of the North West Air Ambulance Charity team who delivers enhanced pre-hospital care at the roadside, said: “When we arrived Henry was already in the ambulance. He had significant head injuries. There was blood in his airways, and he wasn’t responsive.
The tot underwent 10 hours of surgery and was in intensive care for 10 days, after arriving at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. He stayed in hospital for five weeks and underwent rehabilitation, learning to crawl, walk, talk, eat and drink again. The North West Air Ambulance Charity relies on public and corporate donations to save lives and is celebrating its 24th birthday. It's not part of the NHS, meaning it doesn't get government funding, so must raise £12 million every year to provide lifesaving services.
