The dad-of-one who was originally from Liverpool was out walking his Patterdale terrier puppy when the shocking incident occurred which is now being treated as murder
A dad who was mauled to death by an XL Bully in a ferocious attack whilst walking his own puppy has been named.
Ian lived alone and had become very close to his furry companion Beau. He often spent time with the neighbours coming around for tea and a chat for company as his only son lives abroad. She continued: "He has a son of his own who lives abroad, it is such a tragedy for him as well. Yesterday Scouse went to the local church where he had his lunch and came to ours later because he'd left Beau with us to look after. He was happy, he said he'd had a lovely meal and was happy to come back to Beau. He absolutely loved his dog, he was a real dog lover.
