New: DA dismisses case against ex-Dallas council member Kevin Felder involving teen on scooter
against former Dallas City Council member Kevin Felder that stemmed from an incident involving a teenager on a motorized scooter.“No weapon formed against me shall prosper,” Felder said, paraphrasing the Bible.Felder two and half years ago on a charge of failure to stop and render aid related to the Feb. 13, 2019, crash near Fair Park. A teenager who was riding a motorized scooter told Dallas police he was hit from behind by a blue Ford Fusion.
“This was politically motivated to get me out of office,” he said. “This is what I want everybody to know.” A blue Ford Fusion registered to former Dallas City Council member Kevin Felder's address was towed from the Park In the Woods Recreation Center in Dallas on Feb. 13, 2019. Felder said he never said that. He said he saw the scooter rider fall and stopped to check on him. Left with the impression that he was OK, Felder said he drove off.
