Auld said the company is still facing supply chain challenges, including shortages in certain building materials, and a tight labor market. “I don’t see a significant change in how we build, what we build,” Romanowski said in the call. “But if it continues to be a push on affordability, then we’ll put the appropriate homes in place. It may mean some smaller homes but not a significant shift from where we are today.”
Yarbrough said he expects the market to cool down at some point as home prices grow much more quickly than incomes.
