Mostly above average for temperatures the next few days. A chance of more than passing showers may come along on Friday.

Most of the workweek should end up warmer than average as this latest stretch of mainly pleasant weather persists. There are a couple rain chances in the forecast. We can certainly still use it. Washington and Dulles are both not far from 10 inches below average for the year. Until at least Friday, nothing looks like it’ll accomplish much.Cloudier than yesterday, but plenty of sun. Highs should rise to around 60 to the mid-60s across the area.

Confidence: Medium-HighNorthwest winds, drier air and clearer skies deliver a somewhat cooler night. Lows are mostly in a mid- to upper-40s range, which might be 50 in the city. Confidence: Mediumwe cool down behind a backdoor cold front, but only from the quite warm conditions of Tuesday. With extra clouds and a northeast wind, highs are mainly in the low- and mid-60s. Confidence: Medium, another weak low passes to our north. It’s closer than the last one, but moisture is limited.
