On Sunday, we transition from below-average to above-average temperatures.
: An improvement over Thursday as a large enough portion of our region should see sufficient sunshine to get most spots into the 60s.Our below-average temperatures are accompanied by decent sunshine levels today and grayer skies tomorrow — perhaps bringing a few raindrops. A switch flips on Sunday with an early summerlike preview that brings sunshine, heat and a slight tinge of humidity into next week. Monday may be our first day of 90 degrees or hotter.
We may range from upper 50s north of town with grayest skies, to mid-60s farther south where a bit more sunshine is possible. Shower chances are perhaps around 20 percent but any that develop should be light and brief. Confidence: MediumMostly cloudy with a slight breeze from the south and southeast. A few stray raindrops are possible but unlikely. As the atmosphere moistens, low temperatures don’t dip too much, perhaps hovering within a few degrees of 55.
