Marysville Schools are working with federal law enforcement after a weekend cybersecurity incident forced the cancellation of classes Monday.

"We're surprised, but glad they took action and are still taking care of it, and on top of it," parent April Eddelman said. She spent the day at the park with her seventh grade daughter after schools were closed Monday.Deliveries were unable to be dropped off at the Marysville Exempted Village School District office on Monday.

Marysville Schools said it immediately initiated its response plan and is now working with federal law enforcement and IT specialists as they work to get email, phones and internet back up and running. District officials told the community that privacy and security of students and staff is a top priority, and if it's determined information has been compromised, they will take quick action and notify individuals in a timely manner
