SAN ANTONIO - A local leader is urging state officials to considder

The National News Desk's Angela Brown explains the realities of homelessness as Sinclair and The Salvation Army join forces.On Wednesday, San Antonio City Councilman Marc Whyte represented the city in testifying before the Texas House Committee on Delivery of Government Efficiency in favor of building the Texas Cyber Command Center .

"San Antonio's robust cybersecurity ecosystem and military presence make our city the ideal location for the Texas Cyber Command Center," stated Councilmember Whyte. "This initiative would not only strengthen Texas's cybersecurity infrastructure but also create high-skilled jobs and economic opportunities for our community." The councilman said that thanks to the close proximity to cybersecurity outfits already in San Antonio, as well as nearby military installations like Joint Base San Antonio, the 16th Air Force , and NSA Texas. State leaders proposing the outfit believe the Texas Cyber Command Center would allow the state to better protect it's critical infrastructure, and respond to cyber threats, alongside creating new opportunities for partnerships with the private sector.
