Get more details below.The Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs is warning County homeowners about scam calls seeking immediate payment for unpaid property taxes.
In one call, a scammer told a homeowner who was behind on taxes that she was ineligible for county programs and was going to lose her home. The scammer offered to buy her home and then demanded her banking information.“You should always independently verify information before you before you act on information provided to you by a stranger,” Harris said.
Some of the recipients include Oberlin College, Case Western Reserve University and The Ohio State University in Columbus, where Jewish students have been the targets of antisemitism and anti-Zionism since May of 2024. He said the goal is to provide university leaders with a Jewish perspective and accurate reporting on issues surrounding antisemitism, protests and misinformation often seen spread on campuses and social media.
Property owners who want to contest their valuation may file a formal tax complaint with the Board of Revision. The deadline to file is 11:59 p.m. March 31. This deadline is set by the state of Ohio and no extensions or exceptions to this deadline can be granted. Topic Tuesdays will be held from 3-4 p.m. every Tuesday at the University Heights Library, 13866 Cedar Road.

Also, the Cain Park Arts Festival, a juried fine arts and fine crafts event featuring the work of artists across the country, is seeking works from artists and craftspeople.For the sixth straight year Dr. Diana Ponsky was awarded as a Castle Connolly’s Exceptional Women in Medicine for 2025.
