The top golfers now play this weekend for a cut of the $12 million in prize money.
Cuts have been made at the 79th U.S. Women's Open at the Lancaster Country Club . It came down to the wire at the end to see which golfers were going to survive and play on through the weekend. The big story was Nelly Korda .She came close to making it late but couldn't power through as her tournament came to an end. The 25-year-old shot a +10 for the tournament but went even par in Friday's second round. The cut line was +8.
'Trying to be patient on this course is the key for me because even though you hit on the green, you can three-putt very easily if you're on the wrong spot. I'm trying to be patient, and if I can get birdies, I'm going to go for it,' Meechai said. 'It's definitely tough out there, the course requires all of your attention on every single golf shot. Just staying super patient and trying to play.
