Diverse group of characters risk life and sanity to keep the country running in Berkeley Rep’s irreverent comedy full of adult language and situations.

Copeland’s autobiographical work is a funny yet poignant memoir about growing up black in the all-white suburb of San Leandro in 1972.
Directed by Suzan Lorraine, the fun comedy features Jason Berner , Bill Chessman , Kieran Cook , Sally Hogarty , Kim James and Shelly McDowell .If you’re looking for something a bit different, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives present “Self_less.” Collective narratives from community members intertwine with music and songs composed by Berkeley’s Edward Schocker and performed with traditional Korean instruments by the South Korean Group, Ensemble PHASE.
