. Curry struck out six through six innings and didn't allow a hit until his final inning. Morris, who is rehabbing a shoulder injury, struck out seven over the final three innings to record his first save of the season.
The Guardians pitching prospect made three starts in the Arizona Complex League before joining the Clippers Aug. 3. Oscar Mercado and Will Brennan each had a pair of RBIs to help the Clippers win their eighth straight and climb to within a half game behind Nashville. OF George Valera walked twice and scored a run in his Triple-A debut.
