The only remaining defendant is Damion Barber, one of the players he accuses of harassing him. Judge Matthew W. Brann in September 2021 removedThe court filing does not state why Rumery, Peters, Dix, Brown and Isaac are considered material witnesses. Calls to Humphries’ attorney, Steven F. Marino, were not returned.
Depositions are scheduled later this month and in April for the five witnesses, along with Barber, but Marino has notified the court the dates have to be changed because he is committed to a trial in New Jersey.
