Bainbridge Township police are investigating an Oct. 6 crime spree on East Washington Street where several residents reported items stolen from their unlocked parked vehicles. For one resident who left keys in their vehicle, it was the entire car that was stolen.
Residents heard a noise around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 6 but ignored it because their dog did not bark. When they woke up the next morning their car was gone from the driveway. It was left unlocked with the key in it. Police recovered the vehicle later that day not damaged in Cleveland. Found outside the vehicle was the discarded wallet that another resident reported stolen 6 p.m. Oct. 7 from her vehicle parked on East Washington Street.
11 after he drove out of the Shell gas station and crashing into the side of another vehicle. A witness called police with a description leading them to locate him in a nearby parking lot. The subject said he did not stop after the collision because he does not have a driver’s license. Police also cited him for having no license.As the traffic light changed to green for a woman stopped at the intersection at the U.S. 422 ramp Oct. 11, a woman’s car was struck from behind.
