Netflix has officially ordered Culinary Class Wars Season 2, following its successful series debut of the hit South Korean cooking show.
Since making its debut nearly a month ago, the series has become one of the streamer’s current most popular non-English shows, reaching the number one spot for three consecutive weeks on the Global Top 10 TV list.
“Bringing a show of this scale to life requires immense effort, and we’re deeply grateful for the love and enthusiasm we’ve received so far. As we continue to expand our unscripted offerings, we look forward to bringing even more distinctive and exciting shows to our audience in the near future.” Culinary Class Wars is created by Kim Eun-ji and Kim Hak-min, with popular celebrity chef and restauranteur Paik Jong-won and Korea’s only Michelin three-star chef Anh Sung-Jae serving as the judges. The series gathers 100 experienced chefs, from restaurant owners to Michelin star chefs, as they compete in a fierce cooking showdown. To raise the stakes, the participants are divided into two classes.
