The School of Science and Engineering (SSE) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) invites applications for faculty positions at the Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer levels.
The ideal candidates will conduct research and teaching in areas like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Optics, Computer Engineering, Integrated Circuits, Information Engineering, Robotics, Network Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Financial Engineering. Strong candidates in other related fields are also welcome. Junior candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in related fields and high potential in teaching and research. Junior appointments are typically contract-based for up to three years, potentially leading to longer-term positions or tenure. Senior candidates (Associate and Full Professor) are expected to demonstrate academic leadership and commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Exceptional appointments with tenure will be considered for candidates with proven excellence. Salary will be internationally competitive, based on experience and achievements.
