Here are the 14 states where the recalled cucumbers were shipped
Fresh Start Produce Sales Inc. of Delray, Florida, is recalling whole cucumbers that were shipped to 14 states, including New Jersey.The company initiated the recall after the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture found that one sampling of the product tested positive for salmonella.Consumers are being advised to check with their local grocery store to see if the affected cucumbers were sold where they shop.
The agency also urges anyone who has the cucumbers not to eat them but to destroy and throw them out or return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.
