The Chicago Cubs have unveiled their 2026 giveaways calendar, including a number of tributes to the 2016 World Series-winning team.

The Chicago Cubs have unveiled their 2026 giveaways calendar, including a number of tributes to the 2016 World Series-winning team.anniversary of their founding in 1876, and fans will benefit from a series of giveaways in the months ahead.Things will get started on Opening Day, when the Cubs will have magnetic schedules for up to 10,000 fans. In their following game, the Cubs will give away puffer vests, according to the team. Bobblehead season gets started on April 11 against the Pirates when 2016 World Series MVP Ben Zobrist is honored, and the following week a Ron Santo bobblehead will be given away on April 18 against the Mets.Star Wars fans can get a unique giveaway item, appropriately enough, on May 4 when a Cubs Grogu Bobblehead will be available for children through a special ticket offer. The team will also hold a series of celebrations aimed at various groups, including an AAPI Heritage Month Celebration May 18, complete with a unique jersey fans can get through a special ticket offer.Several colleges, including DePaul, the University of Illinois and Northwestern University, will also have themed-ticket opportunities at select games. Mexican Heritage Jerseys will be available through a ticket offer on May 20, and Puerto Rican Heritage Jerseys will be available on June 4 against the Athletics. The Cubs will also have special Friday giveaways in the bleachers sponsored by Budweiser, including a 1930s-replica jersey on June 19 against the Blue Jays, a 1940s-jersey on July 17 against the Twins, and a 1984 replica jersey on August 14 against the Cardinals. The official celebration of the 2016 World Series-winning Cubs will take place on July 18 against the Twins, while the Cubs’ 150anniversary celebration will be held August 29 against the Reds. Their Hall of Fame celebration will take place the following day.
