Yandy Díaz would be a strong fit for the Cubs.Díaz is an affordable option for the Cubs as he is owed just $10 million in 2025 and has a $12 million club option in 2026.

The Rays receive two prospects, and Bateman could start the 2025 season in Triple-A. Rojas, realistically, could start in Double-A.As for the Cubs, they get Díaz who hit .281 with 14 home runs and 65 RBI last year.
