But not the one we have now,” he said in a statement. “Letitia James has been a professional politician for over twenty years and throughout her career she has consistently put her own political interests ahead of New Yorkers,” Dara added. “I’m running for New York State Attorney General because the people of New York deserve an AG that puts New Yorkers first, not one consumed by her own political ambitions.” Dara’s approach to lowering the cost of living in New York differs substantially from that of others in the city who have taken on the matter, especially socialist New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.Aside from his work in crypto, Dara has distinguished himself in conservative circles. He’s made videos for the conservative educational website PragerU, talking aboutHe’s also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the pro-market legal nonprofit organization Advisory Board of the Investor Choice Advocates Network.
