Cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike has addressed the chaos caused by a technical mishap with their systems, which led to widespread outages globally.
CrowdStrike, known for its cloud software security services, particularly for Microsoft 365, pinpointed a faulty update file on Windows hosts as the culprit behind the turmoil, confirming that a solution is being implemented. Company president George Kurtz commented: "CrowdStrike is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. This is not a security incident or cyberattack.
