Updated: Nov. 13, 2024, 2:32 p.m.Emma Zawatski of Freehold Township won the 2023 NJSIAA Girls Cross Country Meet of Champions, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 in Holmdel, N.J. Paige Sheppard of Union Catholic finished second.One of the best competitions in N.J. high school sports -- XC Meet of Champions -- is expected to kick off on Saturday at Holmdel Park.

We will also have a comprehensive preview of the meet that is set to come out on Thursday.Unlike the Shore Coaches Invitational & NJSIAA Group Championships,The address for Holmdel Park is down below.The boys championship race will kick off at 11:00 a.m., followed by the girls championship at noon. An award ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m.
All teams who were at groups but didn’t win a state title Meet of Champions will be merged -- the top eight schools after the merger by team score will advance to the Meet of Champions. All ties will be broken by the 6th runner rule.The top 10 runners from each group race automatically qualify. After that, its the top 30 runners with the fastest times across all Groups who didn’t already qualified via their teams.
