Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's Wrexham have been tipped to sign Cristiano Ronaldo
It might seem a stretch, even in this era of glitzy ownership. Yet, the investment from Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has already worked wonders for Wrexham, propelling them to two consecutive promotions as they target a third in a row this season.
But is it really possible they could snag one of football's megastars? William Gallas, the ex-Arsenal and Chelsea defender, thinks it's not out of the question. With Ronaldo in the last year of his contract at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, Gallas wouldn't be shocked if a move materialised, reports Wales Online.
He added, "It wouldn't surprise me, because money talks and we've seen that nothing impossible these days."
