The crime index in Davao City has dropped by 42 percent from January 1 to September 30, 2023, compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data released by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
ACCORDING to the latest data released by the Davao City Police Office on Thursday, October 12, 2023, the crime index in Davao City dropped by 42 percent from January 1 to September 30, 2023, compared to the same period last year.During this time frame, there were 213 reported cases, down from 370 cases in the same period last year.
Robbery cases also saw a decline from 58 to 33, while murder cases increased slightly from 37 to 42.DCPO spokesperson Police Captain Hazel Tuazon attributed these positive results to the continuous vigilance of the public, who promptly provided information to the authorities.
