CSA has expressed concern about local players that are based abroad in the wake of the Coronavirus

Several SA players are based in the United Kingdom under the Kolpak contracts such asFaul says it is important to monitor the players’ travel record:

CSA has canceled or postponed its events to try and stop the virus from spreading. All forms of cricket have been suspended for the next 60 days. The Australian women’s tour to SA has been canceled. The Proteas men senior next coming tours against Sri Lanka and West Indies away have been put on hold according to Faul. He says, fortunately, the cricket season was coming to an end.

The acting chief executive of CSA believes there is a need to have a platform for information sharing regarding the measures to prevent the virus.– Report by Vincent Sitsula
