A fire that blazed through an Eagle River fourplex on Heritage Court this evening was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported, according to AFD assistant chief Alex Boyd.

A fire that blazed through an Eagle River fourplex Saturday evening was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported, an Anchorage Fire Department official said. The fire appeared to have started in a unit on the second floor of a multifamily home located on the 16400 block of Heritage Court in Eagle River near the Glenn Highway, Assistant Fire Chief Alex Boyd said Saturday evening.

By 6:45 p.m., the fire had been contained, and all residents had made it safely out of the building, Boyd said.
