Contra Costa fire crews are responding to a vegetation fire burning in Pittsburg on Saturday.
The fire is burning along the 700 block of Willow Pass Road in an inaccessible and uninhabited area away from any structures.Crews are asking residents to stay clear of area"to allow emergency vehicle access to the fire."
Contra Costa fire officials say it is deploying additional firefighting resources to battle the brush fire as wind is pushing fire towards the de-commissioned Pittsburg power plant.
