Creekside also stepped up its pass rush when it mattered most. They forced six sacks on Jones, including two by lineman Cole Long. Perhaps the two biggest plays for the Mandarin defense, though, were waved off: Zion Scott's fumble return to the end zone was nullified when officials whistled Williams down by contact, and offsetting flags eliminated a second-half Brayden Knox interception.
