Creed band members were spotted Wednesday at ALCS Game 3 in Texas Rangers gear.
As the Creed song"Higher" begun to play during ALCS Game 3, the ballpark's jumbotron showed all four members of Creed in the crowd singing along to their own song.gear in support of the team who has been using their music as motivation during the latter half of this season.
During a break in action of the Rangers postseason game against the Houston Astros on Wednesday, Globe Life Field started playing some karaoke for fans to sing along with. As the Creed song"Higher" begun to play, the ballpark's jumbotron"Well, we need some runs, and we need to stop them from scoring," Phillips said."It's been a lot of fun so far."that throughout the second half of the season, they started playing Creed songs before games.
Sports fans in DFW are no stranger to a Creed crossover – with arguably one of the most viral and iconic halftime shows ever performed. During a performance of"Higher" at the Thanksgiving Cowboys game in 2001, Rangers rookie Evan Carter, who wasn't even born yet when Creed released its biggest hits in 1999 and 2001 ,, but has become more familiar of the band as of late. He said his favorite song is"One Last Breath." CarterRangers manager Bruce Bochy wasn't in the target demographic, either.
