SPONSORED: Creating Equity For Deskless Workers with WorkplaceMeta
Frontline or deskless workers—home health care providers, field technicians, retail workers, salespeople, and others whose job has no fixed location—often feel estranged from their company culture. Historically, many deskless workers have reported that they feel disconnected from, or even forgotten by, those at their company’s corporate headquarters.
A survey by Harvard Business Review Analytic Services of 264 respondents has found that companies are now rethinking their approach to managing and supporting their frontline workforce. Many employers are incorporating deskless workers into future workforce strategies and trying to create equity between their deskless and desk employees. More than half of respondents say their organization is taking action to increase collaboration between office/ desk workers and deskless workers.
