Justin Dominguez helps carry Crean Lutheran into the second round.
VALENCIA – The Hart football came into the postseason looking to make a run after finishing off a 7-3 regular season last Friday.
Hart running back Chris Clauss started the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown to give the home team a 7-0 lead toward the end of the first quarter. Crean Lutheran took advantage of their second interception by turning it into another touchdown, this one coming from senior running back Justin Dominguez to give them a 14-7 lead.
Larkins quickly found receiver Shawn Irwin for a 40-yard score to cut the lead to 23-21, but Justin Dominguez abruptly put an end to Hart’s hopes.
