Festival goers can expect a big difference at Creamfields this year
Creamfields is back with thousands of music fans expected to attend the music festival. It will be the festival’s 27th year running. Originating from the 1990s Cream Club in Liverpool city centre, the dance festival began on the old Speke airfield before moving to Daresbury in Cheshire. It will return again this August bank holiday weekend, from Thursday, August 22 to Sunday, August 25. Acts performing this year include Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim and Peggy Gou.
The Dreamfields and pre-pitch accommodation options on site will be expanded due to high demand and extensive improvements to the field drainage systems have been promised to mitigate potential disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions. Entry times to the festival depend on whether you have paid for camping or a day ticket. A day ticket does not include access to the campsites and you will be required to leave once the event arena closes.
