A Rutherglen man has been jailed for a horror double axe attack on a group of terrified families at a holiday resort.The 36-year-old targeted a property in Wales last year where two families - including children -were staying, report North Wales Live.

He went downstairs to investigate and was so concerned he picked up a knife to protect himself.
Meanwhile, Mr Thompson, who had been staying in an annexe, was also awake by now. Ms Carrier said he put on his shoes and called out.She said the incident lasted an hour. Eventually, Mr Thompson saw someone coming down the stairs of the property and asked: "Is that the police?" But it was Khan brandishing an axe who replied: "No, it's not the police."
