Turnpike official says crash involved a tanker truck and two other vehicles
A crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike has traffic stopped in both directions.A turnpike official says the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 476, near milepost A-26 in Mongomery County.According to the turnpike official, the crash involved a tanker truck on fire and two other vehicles.They say this will be an extended roadway closure northbound and southbound, between Mid County and Landsdale. There is no time frame when the roadway will reopen.
