For the fourth time in 14 years, San Antonio activist Sardar Biglari failed to win a seat on the board of Tennessee -based restaurant and retail chain Cracker Barrel . Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. on Thursday announced that all 10 of the company’s director nominees won support from its shareholders at its annual meeting based on preliminary results. That included Michael Goodwin , a former chief technology officer at PetSmart, who was nominated by Biglari and recommended by Cracker Barrel .
