A light pole on Broadview Road in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood is cracked a couple feet up, and is now being held up by two rods and a plank of wood.

He said he first noticed it a month ago and called Cleveland Public Power, but he never saw a crew show.

The man I spoke to says it may have been a car crash that originally caused the pole to break. Now, there are pieces of wood jutting out, the top of the pole is leaning, and he worries it’s simply not stable. We even noticed the hole dug to hold the light pole up had an alarming gap, allowing the possibility for the pole to move around. We were forced to leave a message and haven’t heard back.

A frustrating outcome Friday for people who walk and drive by this frightening pole every day, but you can bet the 19 Troubleshooters will stay on CPP until we get some answers, and the people of Old Brooklyn get a permanent fix.Mason High School Marching Band receives formal invitation to 2024 Rose Parade
