This marks Adams's first foray into the NFL, having honed his skills as wide receivers coach at various institutions like Washington, Western Kentucky, Boise State, Eastern Washington, and Montana State. He also assumed offensive coordinator responsibilities with both the Huskies and Hilltoppers.The Cowboys anticipate finalizing a deal with Adams, who will join the team as their new wide receivers coach, as per a source. This marks the second collegiate coach joining Schottenheimer's staff, following the acquisition of Riley as the offensive line coach. The team endured a disappointing 7-10 season in 2024, putting considerable pressure on Schottenheimer, who embarks on his first head coaching role after a somewhat rocky coaching search process. This search was triggered by a failed attempt to retain Mike McCarthy.
