Every December, the Cowboys players and cheerleaders fan out to four area hospitals to visit children.

“It’s great to come out and spread a little Christmas cheer, to get out in the community and show our support,’’ Martin said.Players speak every year about how much they get from these visits and how it helps give them perspective. All talk about the smiles they see on the faces of the children they get to meet.
This year’s visit to Children’s Health resonated more than most. One of the patients was at the facility for a heart transplant.“For us to have a chance to hug her mom and to see her, it was really great,’’ said Charlotte Jones, the chief brand officer and co-owner of the club. “She was sound asleep. Zeke said something and she opened her little eyes and was responding to his voice.’’“That was a really special moment and really means a lot to our Cowboys family,’’ Jones said.
