picked up a Chevrolet Corvette he ordered through Allen Samuels Direct dealership in Euless. By around 2:15 p.m. the next day, the sports car was totaled.
“I really don’t remember much,” Williams said of events leading to the collision on Preston Road in Plano. “I just remember me getting hit. I don’t know what the other driver was doing, where she was going. But I don’t know. I guess it’s in the police report. I don’t remember. I just remember getting hit. …I got out of the car. I was like, ‘Damn, my car. Look at my f------ car.’ Those were my exact words. ‘Look at my car.
“Once I got out, everybody had their phones out. They were like, ‘There is no way you lived that. There is no way you lived that.’”Williams had the right of way when driving southbound on Preston Road. The second driver, whom the police official said also avoided serious injuries, attempted to turn onto Towne Square Place. A Plano police spokesperson said last week that police are investigating whether the speed at which Williams was traveling had any role.
