From there, Beckham left Collin County and ventured to Dallas County with linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs to watch the Mavericks play the Suns on Monday night near downtown Dallas.There was plenty of star power at the American Airlines Center between NFL and NBA players. But there was only one star without a place of employment: Beckham.
The Cowboys believe they have the necessary salary cap space and room on the field to make this happen. Jerry Jones knows he wants to sign Beckham as another jolt to an offense that’s exploded with quarterback Dak Prescott’s return from a fractured thumb.Imagine what the Cowboys would do if Beckham joins a receiving corps of CeeDee Lamb, Noah Brown and Michael Gallup.
This isn’t new territory for Jerry Jones, a man used to employing star receivers from Michael Irvin, Terrell Owens, Keyshawn Johnson, Dez Bryant and quite possibly Beckham.
