A heated altercation between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles during an NFL game on December 29, 2024, resulted in multiple ejections and hefty fines for players from both teams.

Philadelphia Eagles safety Sydney Brown along with Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Brooks and corner back Troy Pride were all ejected after the fight.

Cowboys cornerback Troy Pride ($5,198) and wide receiver Jalen Brooks ($5,083) were fined for unnecessary roughness. Eagles cornerback Sydney Brown received a similar penalty, but was fined $6,981 for his role in the scrum.During a punt return, Brown and Brooks were engaged going down the Cowboys’ sideline. After the ball landed in the end zone, Brown and Pride continued to lock up after the whistle sounded ending the play.When the play was over Pride pushed Brown to the ground and the trio of players were out of bounds and in the entryway of the visiting tunnel. Pride later criticized Brown, saying there’s “no room” in the game for dirty plays. It was the first time this season that a Cowboys player was ejected from a game.Pride and Brooks weren’t the only Cowboys players fined last week.
