The internet was set ablaze on Thursday when an image appeared online that showcased Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in a walking boot while on vacation. Despite reports indicating that the injury was not serious, showing up with any sort of apparent injury weeks before training camp would cause all kinds of concern.
The fractured ankle that Prescott suffered in 2020 was gruesome, and it looked like the kind of injury that would have stopped him from playing again. Thankfully, he was able to heal properly and returned to the field in 2021. The lingering aspect of the injury is what could hold the greatest concern now.Prescott is currently in a contract year, and the Cowboys have yet to provide any sort of semblance of a contract extension.
