Summary Adult Swim officially announced an expected release window in 2025 for their newest anime series, Lazarus. First announced on July 20, 2023, the dark science-fiction series will be led by fan-favorite Cowboy Bepop director, Shinichiro Watanabe. In addition, world-renowned Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan animation studio, MAPPA, returns to bring the thrilling new story to life.
Adult Swim Brings Brand New Sci-Fi Action Thriller to Life with a Star-Studded Production Team Cowboy Bepop director and a John Wick creative join forces to create Adult Swim's newest anime series The Sci-fi action thriller not only has a stellar director, but its action director is none other than Chad Stahelski, who has previously worked on the John Wick franchise. According to Adult Swim, the series will have 13 episodes in total.
