The COVID-19 hospitalization rate in New Jersey continues to climb.

There were 297 people on ventilators as of Friday, and while that’s a fraction of what hospitals saw early in the crisis, the number of intubated patients has been steadily increasing over the past month. , schools shift back to remote learning, people flock to get tested and more patients occupy hospital beds.
