PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 204 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday (March 11), says the Health Ministry.
The Health Ministry said through data released on its KKMNow portal on Sunday that this brings the new total to 5,045,192 cases since the pandemic began.The ministry also said through its KKMNow portal that there were 193 recoveries on Saturday bringing the total number of active cases in Malaysia to 9,380.
Of the active cases, 96.8% or 9,077 individuals are undergoing home quarantine, while 3.2% of active cases or 298 individuals need to be hospitalised, with five warded in intensive care units throughout the country.
