Beijing China menutup sebahagian besar hospital sementara yang dibuka untuk merawat pesakit koronavirus (Covid-19) di pusat epidemik, berikutan penurunan kes jangkitan baharu.
Ketika ini terdapat 40 kes baharu di seluruh China yang menurut Suruhanjaya Kesihatan Nasionalnya, jumlah terendah sejak data direkodkan bermula Januari lalu.
Bandar raya Wuhan di Hubei mencatatkan hampir 31,000 pesakit sembuh dan dibenarkan keluar hospital, menurut pihak berkuasa tempatan. Media rasmi Xinhua melaporkan, 11 daripada 16 hospital sementara di bandar raya itu yang diubah suai daripada kemudahan awam termasuk stadium dan sekolah sudah ditutup. Dua lagi hospital sementara iaitu ubah suai pusat sukan dan kilang pula ditutup semalam, selepas melepaskan 61 pesakit terakhir.Kadar jangkitan baharu di Hubei, wilayah tengah China dilapor menunjukkan penurunan sejak beberapa minggu lalu.
