“New dates will be announced later,” he said after attending the National Covid-19 Management Centre meeting chaired by Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan o-cha in Bangkok yesterday. Wissanu said other measures to contain the Covid-19 outbreak in the kingdom included temporary closure of crowded venues such as stadiums, boxing stadiums, cinemas and entertainment outlets, and suspension of activities at universities, schools as well as tuition centres.

Of the 33 new cases yesterday, 16 of them had close contact with previous patients while 17 others had travelled abroad and had close contact with foreigners.
