putrajaya Kementerian Kesihatan buat masa ini masih mengekalkan tempoh inkubasi COVID-19 selama 14 hari dan tidak bercadang untuk menambah tempoh berkenaan seperti yang disarankan oleh pakar sebelum ini.

Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, berkata tempoh yang dilakukan di negara ini adalah berdasarkan kepada kajian dan fakta oleh Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia .

Terdahulu, media antarabangsa melaporkan data terbaru berdasarkan penyelidikan membabitkan lebih 1,000 pesakit COVID-19 mendapati tempoh inkubasi virus itu boleh mencecah 24 hari, bukannya 14 hari seperti yang dipercayai sebelum ini.
